The variety is adapted to the climate and soil of Ukraine and consistently shows high performance in different regions of our country. It fully meets the requirements of high-intensity production: it has high resistance to lodging and shattering, with high yield potential.
Variety: contecstum (subvariety – vulgare)
Varietal distinguishing features. The Oplot variety is of the leafless type, semi-dwarf with a plant height ranging from 55 to 75 centimeters. The stem is of the ordinary type. Flowers are white, two per peduncle. There are 14 to 16 internodes to the first inflorescence. The pod is medium-large, of the dehiscent type. The number of seeds in a pod is 5 to 6 (maximum 7). Seeds are smooth, round-flattened, pink in color.
Agronomic characteristics. The Oplot variety is medium-maturing, of the grain-use type, resistant to drought and lodging. The growing season lasts from 79 to 85 days. Protein content in seeds is 20 to 22%. The Oplot variety is suitable for direct combine harvesting.

In addition to the main advantages, this variety is characterized by single-phase ripening, and one-phase harvesting reduces losses and improves crop quality.
